Phase I environmental site assessments

A Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (Phase I or Stage I ESA) is a non-intrusive investigation of a property to identify environmental liabilities or potential liabilities associated with historic and current site activities including an investigation of neighbouring properties. A Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) has become a standard requirement of most financial institutions. A Phase I ESA does not provide detailed information with respect to the type of contamination and cost of remediation.

The Phase I ESA is conducted in accordance with CSA Standard Z768-01 (R2006), which provides the minimum requirements for the assessment of properties.

Kollaard Associates has carried out numerous environmental site assessments. We can provide pricing for your next project, whether you are simply purchasing, re-financing or developing a property.
